The part-time osteopathy program follows the same curriculum as the full-time pathway, with identical academic requirements, educational content, and training volume, while distributing the program over 7 years. This option is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a comprehensive osteopathic education while maintaining professional or personal commitments.

Upon completion of the program, students will have accumulated more than 4,000 hours of training combining theoretical instruction, supervised practice, teaching clinic experience, internships, and a final research project. This training volume is consistent with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the guidance issued by the Quebec Office of Professions (OPQ).

The part-time pathway offers a structured progression over 7 years, allowing students to gradually develop the foundational knowledge, technical skills, and clinical reasoning required for the practice of osteopathy.

Professional associations

The IEOQ program is recognized by the two leading professional osteopathic associations in Quebec, Osteopathy Quebec and RITMA. Graduates may apply for membership with the professional association of their choice, subject to the admission requirements established by each organization.
