5 raisons d'étudier à l'IEOQ
Founded in 1995 in Montreal, the Institut d’Enseignement de l’Ostéopathie du Québec is one of the pioneers in osteopathic training in Quebec. Here are 5 good reasons to study osteopathy at IEOQ!
Osteopathy is a hands-on profession, and we believe that the human approach begins with the training of the future practitioner.
That’s why we consider it essential for theoretical subjects to be studied in the classroom within the school. While distance learning and working from home may have some advantages, it is necessary for students to go beyond simple knowledge assimilation.
The IEOQ’s pedagogical program offers comprehensive theoretical and practical training, meeting the criteria of Anglo-Saxon and European reference standards of the World Health Organization, and those of the Office des Professions du Québec, which advocates in-person teaching for osteopathy (October 2020). Our goal is to anticipate the requirements of the future Order of Osteopaths of Quebec in terms of rigor and seriousness. |
Ideally located in Montreal (RCA Building – Place St-Henri metro), IEOQ aims to train competent osteopaths qualified in cranial, structural, fascial, and visceral osteopathic techniques. This is made possible through our team of teachers, all active professionals, and the significant emphasis placed on practical hours in class, in the school clinic, or during internships.
The IEOQ curriculum also includes training in practice management, essential for future osteopaths looking to establish their practice.
One of IEOQ’s major strengths is its teaching team, composed of active healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds. Some of our osteopath teachers also hold degrees in scientific fields (biologists, biochemists, researchers, etc.).
Want to join our wonderful team of teachers? Write to us; we’d love to hear from you!
IEOQ is a human-sized professional training center that, thanks to its small-sized cohorts, provides personalized guidance to each student.
Tuition fees at IEOQ are competitive in the field of osteopathic education, and payment can be spread over the duration of the training without additional charges. Additionally, the fees associated with your final thesis are included in your tuition.
